So much has happened since 2009. A lifetime it seems.
My girls are so big, and now we have a new baby on the way. My husband is teaching and starting new business ventures and next year I will be staying home with our new blessing. I will have to work part-time but just knowing that I won't have to leave our baby everyday is comforting. Knowing that I can nurse this baby as I did my girls brings joy to my heart.
MaKayla is 12. She loves soccer, it is her passion. She tried out for the North Texas Olympic Development program this year. She was one of over 200 girls trying out for 75 spots. She made it! Not only did she make it but at the first training session she was the goalkeeper for the "first" team. I am so proud of her.
Tamara is 10. She loves whatever she is currently interested in. She has always care about animals and has just recently acquired a new pet. After her gerbil died she decided it was time for a rat. So now we have Oreo, the rat, living under our roof. I know it sounds gross and the tail is unappealing but actually the rat is kinda cute. Much more personality than a gerbil that is for sure. Tamara loves him.
Baby #3 is 14 weeks 3 days gestation. :) At our first sonogram our baby was measuring 4 days ahead, based on first day of last cycle. But the doctor is still sticking to a August 12th due date for now. Adam says its just that he has a big "boy" growing in there. He really thinks its a girl though. I personally will be surprised if it's not a boy. This pregnancy has been so different. Way more sick and more often than with the girls. It could be because I am so much older this go round... maybe :) We went to a check-up and heard the heartbeat yesterday and the doctor said it was nice and strong.
We will have our next sonogram in April. That's when we should find out gender.. hopefully the baby will cooperate.
I love this life I have. It can be so hectic, but I really wouldn't want it any other way.
